How to handle the closing of the notification window, invitations, etc.?

When calling the FAPI.UI.showNotification and other methods that open windows, the result handler only executes if the user pressed the send or cancel button, and if the window is simply closed with a cross or the esc key, then the handler does not process. Is it possible to find out when the window was closed?

As far as I know, no way. If this is not very critical with notifications, then a similar behavior for the payment window is annoying. You have to do the payment validation on your own.
The bug is several years old, OK does not plan to fix it (afaik), they recommend checking payments yourself.
