In general, the problem is this, I got a job at a college in my city as a system administrator, they provided everything as it is and without explaining anything, the former administrator disappeared into nowhere, 2 buildings each with 50 computers on average, they brought a server with some kind of electronic library , I give it an ip and the problem is that it pings from any computer in any case, and you can access its web interface only from the server and another computer that is in the server room if you log in under a different account from the same computer ( which is in the server room - the second), it does not enter, but only pings, I don’t understand how the rights are set like that

It is not clear from the description what is on the servers, whether you have admin access to them or not.
Web port is blocked by a firewall + user authentication is configured.
