How to grant Internet access to a Virtual Machine on Windows Hyper-V Server 2016?
Hello. I ask for help in setting up a network on Windows Hyper-V Server 2016.
There is a physical (remote) server. I manage the hypervisor through the Hyper-V Manager on Windows 10.
I installed it on a Windows Hyper-V Server 2016 server. I created a Windows Server 2016 Standard virtual machine in it.
The server has one network card and a white IP address with Internet access.
I create a virtual switch "wan" of the External type, which looks at the network card with Internet access, check the box "Allow the host OS ...":
I create another virtual switch "local" of the Internal type:
I connected to the physical server via IPMI (Windows Hyper -V Server 2016) and assign a static ip-address 192.168.200.1 to the "local" virtual switch.
After that, I connect these two switches to the Windows Server 2016 Standard virtual machine.
On the local network card of the virtual machine, I prescribe the address 192.168.200.55 with gateway 192.168.200.1
The virtual machine and the parent see each other, ping in both directions. But the virtual machine does not have access to the Internet.
Tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Thank you in advance!
