How to give access to the database from the game server [SSL MySQL]?

There are game servers under pterodactyl (access only to directories of game servers via SSH).
Is VDS, a DB on which work for these servers.

Question - if I configure SSL for MySQL, is it possible to somehow give access to the database to these servers?

Setting up SSL is optional. You can use a firewall to simply open access to the port on which the DBMS is running (usually 3306) only for those IPs from which the game servers are connected, blocking access for everyone else
