How to give a web design made on adobe XD to a layout designer?

Dear designers and layout designers, please give advice.
I want to speed up my website layout development work. Now I use Adobe Photoshop, it does not have the necessary tools that would help me speed up the development process. I recently found the Adobe XD tool, while I'm still deciding to buy it. In terms of videos, it is ideal, and I think this is the very tool to stop at.
The question is:
1) Is this tool really worth switching to? Are there any experienced designers here who switched from photoshop to it?
2) How then to transfer the layout to the layout designer? Will he do layout in this format if the common format for freelance layouts is PSD?
3) Is there any theoretical possibility to make a layout in adobe XD, and then transfer the whole thing to Photoshop?

Sketch or Figma. For the Sketch, there is a Zeplin, and in Figma, you can simply send a link to the project to the fronts.
Adobe tried to jump on the long-departed train and, of course, it worked out as usual.

In adobe xd, after the update, it became possible to transfer the layout to the developer. All sizes, fonts, distances, colors, etc. are visible there. Pictures and icons seem to need to be attached separately, I haven’t figured it out yet. I’ve been trying to do everything in Xd lately, but so far it’s not working without Photoshop, I need to process photos, the colors of icons could not be changed in xd before ...
