How to give 3000 objects unique IDs with a length of no more than 3 values?

I have 3000 cows, I want to give everyone a unique ID, but the length must be no more than 3.
How can I do this?
I thought it could use the Latin alphabet and numbers?

For example 0A,0B,0C,0D...099
Will I be able to cover everyone with this ID this way?
