How to get vote locally in asterisk?

What do you need to develop telephony integration locally?
You need to process the voice of the caller.
I can install Asterisk, but how do I get the voice, through a microphone, or do I need a separate "phone" that can be connected via usb and used in asterisk?

You buy a microphone for 300r and put some kind of IP dialer (aka softphone) on your PC and connect it to your asterisk.
