How to get started with Android development quickly?

Good afternoon. I do web development in PHP and Python. Now I need to make an android application.
How to quickly get into development. Reading the documentation is not a very suitable option, I don’t quite understand how to set everything up where, what to write. I would like to read more accessible material. I know Java at a basic level.

Following off. The documentation from Google is enough to write my first app (like I did). At the same time as you write their simple version of the application - stupidly come up with new (your) functions for it and start googling in English. how to make them (this will teach you how to use an additional library, such as noSQL, etc.). Always look for new functionality that you can add to the application - this will allow you to learn new material in a pleasant way for yourself.
I personally, after two days, wrote a simple note application on my phone. Where I could type in a title, add tag(s) and description, sort and search. Everything was saved on the phone (I used noSQL). In fact, the application is not complicated, but I learned a lot while writing it.
Actually, I advise you to follow this method.
