How to get rid of the ready-made Wordpress reg.ru solution in favor of normal hosting and linking the "real" Wordpress?

Gentlemen, help with information!
Created a website based on ready-made Wordpress solutions from REG.RU.
Everything is fine, I figured out the mechanics of WP, rolled up some beautiful Salient theme, made a very cool site within 2 weeks, figured out a little how to edit the code, and so on and so forth.
But. The further I dive into finishing the site, into incredible parallaxes and full-screen sliders, the more I ask myself, what is a ready-made solution from reg.ru in general?
The problem I faced is that the WP engine seems to be real, but it seems to have no connection with reality:
- I can not update WP (version 4.3)
- I can not install the required plugins (due to a conflict with the old version of WP)
- the installed theme does not have all the declared functions
The feeling that WP is untethered from the outside world or somewhat cut down, broken, etc...
I don’t know anything about this: neither in databases, nor in the nature of WP work and hosting in general.
Actually, I have the following questions:
1. Why do I have problems updating?
2. does it make sense to rent a hosting (let's say on the same reg.ru) and cling to the "normal WP" (I don't know what to call it)
and if it makes sense, then the most important question is:
3. how to transfer all those 2 weekly results to a new DB in case of moving?
I would be super grateful to someone who will explain what is happening and how best to proceed or what I am doing wrong.
Thanks!!!

@verdex

how to transfer all those 2-week results to a new database in case of moving?

Using phpmyadmin, export the database and then using the same phpMyAdmin (only on the server of another provider) import this database.
For your purposes, you can rent a regular virtual (shared) hosting.

@part_os

I myself transferred the site from reg.ru a couple of times following these steps:
