Fight against spam

Hello! All sites were attacked by spam through application forms. I don’t want to put a captcha, the conversion will suffer, I was looking for other ways out, I found a solution to the problem through hidden inputs, (if the robot filled in a hidden field, don’t send it and consider it spam) I’m not strong in the code, maybe someone has a ready-made solution? or saw something victorious? I do not advise recaptcha, why the hell do you
need it. I sometimes solve it for 10 minutes and finally throw
hidden inputs - I did this, the client did not complain. so it's
not hard to work there. but, the code is not ready.
