How to get rid of "can NOT determine the srid" error in postgresql?

After the command: SELECT pgr_nodeNetwork('roads', 0.00001, 'id', 'geom'); SQL Shell gives an error: ERROR: can NOT determine the srid of the geometry " geom
" IN table public.roads Please help me solve the problem
