How to get rid of annoying Chrome profile error in Ubuntu?

Good time, colleagues!
Google Chrome gives an error "Could not load profile correctly..." This is not the first time this error has occurred when I try to migrate from Windows to Ubuntu. It's already the second year. The situation is not changing.
Tried deleting ~/.config/google-chrome/default/web-data and web-data-journal files as almighty google advises.
Ubuntu 16.04 x64, Chrome v53 x64.

Deleting the profile helps for a while. Same thing after a day or two.
