How to get multidimensional array in PHPExcel when rows are grouped?

There is an .xls file in which the lines are grouped. How can I get a multi-dimensional array using PHPExcel? Now, when using this library, I get a regular array. Of course you can give extra. cell, and if it is a section, then specify it. You can then traverse the array recursively. But I'm wondering if there is any built-in function?
