How to get IP address from controller settings?
There is a Huawei server with a network controller:
2GE ports. I configure them through Device Manager, by VLAN, the first under Native (1), the second for future segmentation (100).
I paint the corresponding IP, MASK, GateWay, DNS.
Installed Ubuntu Server 18.04
It's time to set up the network, I look at the interfaces: raise only Lo.
I spied on the MAC which interface Native configured.
I launch it - there is no network. If you manually set the network parameters again, then everything is ok.
Question: then what is the point in this setting (through Device Manager), if you still manually prescribe?
Or is there a way to pull them up from there?
