How to get into science?
Good evening. I am a first-year student of the Faculty of Mathematics. Quite strongly interested in mathematics, computer science and programming in Python. Also recently a member of the Higher Educational Laboratory of Robotics. In the future, I want to try myself in the scientific field, but I don’t know where to start. I have absolutely no idea how things are here. Please tell me in which direction to develop, what are the general directions in the com.sciences, what to learn and where to go in the future. I would be very grateful for your help.

AI: generating an information exchange protocol based on external signals (audio / video - stimuli: sounds / gestures / positions) and sensors / sensors between robots - a language of communication between robots that they can understand and learn using the experience stored in the "head" ( neural network) of the "smartest", passing it on.
Create a minimal self-learning system for robots from each other (without human help)!
Yes, everything is simple: after completing the 1st year (this is important!) go to your graduating department in your specialty - you will have as much science as you want - believe me, you will be very welcome there, there are always not enough young personnel in science.
