How to get info from gps tracker?

We are writing an app for tracking buses. We are going to buy gps trackers. Chose with gprs sms function. And then how to configure them so that they send coordinates to our server? Or are there other APIs that need to be used?

Depends on the model -- "hospital average", trackers can send coordinates via SMS and TCP (HTTP). The user manual will answer most of your questions.
