How to get from 7.5-8 Volts 5 Volts, at least 6 Amps?

Please tell me the circuit / device to get from 7.5-8 Volts 5 Volts (LiPo battery), at least 6 Amps. This device is designed to power the LED strip. I looked about the parallel connection of stabilizers, as well as Chinese DC-DC converters, but it's not that. Tell me the solution or where to dig. Please do not send to China, it is better in Russia. Thank you.

If you just lower the voltage, take several conventional rectifier diodes in series. One diode drops 0.4-0.7 volts (depending on the diode), and this voltage drop is more or less stable.
Several diodes in series will give a voltage drop:
one diode = 0.4 volts for example, then 7 diodes in series = 0.4*7 = 2.8 volts of voltage drop.
Diodes for a current of at least 10 Amperes.
The number of series-connected - select to obtain the desired voltage, start with a larger number, decreasing.
diodes can be connected in parallel. This does not affect the voltage, but each will warm up less.
And such diodes cost a penny and are everywhere.
To assess the heating, feel with your hand. very hot - not a criterion, the hand will not withstand even 60 degrees, but for a diode this is ok.
If it doesn’t hiss when touched with a wet hand and doesn’t pull with a burnt one, this is ok, don’t bother anymore

Collective farm solution (bad): a variable resistor in series and pick it up so that the voltage drop on the tape itself is exactly 5 volts.
The normal solution is DC-DC converters.
