How to get free valid SSL certificates?

Hello!
I used OpenSSL to generate SSL certificates, but only self-signed invalid certificates can be generated there. After days of wandering on the Internet, I found the Let's Encrypt platform. The instructions say that you can issue a certificate for Apache2 or nginx for Linux. And how to issue Let's Encrypt certificates in the form of certificate files and use them in vsFTPd, in Windows RemoteApp and in RDP? If this is not possible, then where can I get free valid SSL certificates?
Help me please!

Let's Encrypt is not tied to Apache or nginx.
The certbot utility has the --manual key
https://certbot.eff.org/
Certificate formats can be converted between each other.
But I doubt that it will be convenient for you to change them every 3 months, because lets ecnrypt issues them for 90 days.

All certificates are free and valid.
Anyone can generate a certificate - absolutely free.
The only question is trust in the one who issued the certificate.
If there is trust in the issuer, the certificate will be accepted, otherwise not.
On systems under your control, you can manually add it to trusted systems.
And if we are talking about other people's systems, we need certificates issued by certificate centers that the system trusts.

You can use self-signed certificates. But in order for systems to trust self-signed certificates, you also need to create a root certificate and add it to the system before you start using it, as well as create at least one more intermediate one. You should get a chain in which each lower certificate is signed by a higher one. The certificate that is higher than all in the chain is the root one and needs to be added to the system, and the one that is lower than all should be given by the server, be it vsFTPd, RDP, or something

It's only better to register. I couldn't do it without registering. All you need to register is email. Then in your personal account you can see all your certificates and you can renew. This is how I issued certificates for both exchange and other services. It just doesn't auto-renew. Handles all
