How to get data from the motherboard?

Good afternoon. I work sis. admin (assistant) and we got a hard drive on our computer connected to a Homag machine (if that means anything to you). I tried to restore everything, but the result was negative (the data was restored, but the machine programs did not start).
They sent this system unit to the repair shop and they said that I did not restore it correctly, because. the motherboard has data that also needs to be restored. Here actually a question: If it is possible how to receive the data from a floor-mat. fees, back up and restore? Through what program?

There may be a piece of iron so specific that no one will answer. Maybe some kind of solid-state drive is soldered, and quite specific, for example.
