How to get an education on your own?

Hello!
I am 24 years old. I am a man who foolishly did not receive an education. After a long time and thinking about my personal situation and the situation as a whole, of course, I came to the conclusion that education is vitally important to me and I just simply feel bad, constantly realizing that I fucked up ...

I, of course, took up training, but all the time I come to the conclusion that nothing comes out. I grab everything in a row, jump from information to information and just can’t come to anything

. I would like to ask a question: how can I build self-education in order to be at least a little educated?
(I want to say right away, I think that I don’t know how to study, because I didn’t actually do it purposefully, that’s why such questions. I would just like to change it)

I understand all the advice "don't give up", "motivate yourself", but there is also a technical nuance: there are so many resources now, so much of this information, I am constantly in substitute.

I would like to be better in mathematics, physics, I have already stopped thinking that I am the future Poincaré, I just would like to finish at least the school curriculum.
Really, if I didn't study engineering at school, I don't have a chance anymore?

Thanks everyone!

How to get an education on your own?

That's the only way they get it.
Briefly: open a book, read, close the book.
I am 24 years old. I am a man who foolishly did not receive an education.

Don't worry - almost all people are like that.
After a long time and thinking about my personal situation and the situation as a whole, I came to the conclusion, of course, that education is vitally important to me and I just simply feel bad, constantly realizing that I fucked up ...

Look - you're already better than most!
Of course, I took up the training, but all the time I come to the conclusion that nothing comes of it.

And how many years did you spend on it? How many thousands of hours did you study math for example?
I want to say right away, I think that I don’t know how to study, because I didn’t actually do it purposefully, that’s why such questions. I just wish it could change

And what do you know how to do? You never studied. Start, in a few years you will begin to understand how it is done.
there are so many resources right now, so much of this information, I'm constantly on the stand-in.

No matter how the classics have changed - books that were relevant 20 years ago, even 50 years ago - are still relevant, at least in the field of the school curriculum.
The advice is simple - take a math textbook - and read until you reach the end. The main thing is to read, not to skim. Turning the page, you must be completely sure that you understand everything that is written on it. At first it will be bad - not the fact that you can master even one page a day, but gradually you will accelerate. Take notes. When the brains are a little loosened up, you can think about hiring a tutor. Start touching physics only after getting acquainted with mathematics, before that - forget about its existence.
PS I recommend mathprofi.ru - everything is chewed there for completely stupid people, it won't replace a good textbook at all, but for entry - it helped me at one time.
