How to get a job in open source?

Interested in the opportunity to get a job in a company that develops technical solutions (paid or Open-source). For example, hazelcast, postgresql, mysql, spark. Direction - databases, in-memory storage, cloud computing. What companies can you really get into not after a specialized university, but, for example, after 4 years of corporate development in java? I want to choose a specialization and work on a worthwhile product, and not every half a year to quickly read the manual from kubernetess, docker, hyper-v, hibernate, spring and the like, and then for months to understand the mind-blowing logic of the next mega-startup or social network for cats .

@p00h

Start pull-requesting open-source projects of the company you want to do real work.

@GavriKos

You open the website of each company from your own list, look for "career", "vacancies", etc. there. and read carefully.
As a last resort - linkedin and their eychars to help.
