Can GPL V3 components be used in a commercial project?

Is it possible to use components from faces. GPL V3 in a commercial project? What restrictions does this impose? As far as I understand, you can use it, but the code must be open?

Not just open, namely under the GPL. Although you need to open it to those to whom you sell, the rest at will.

GPL is a virus license. And this is good.
If a commercial project is licensed under the GPL, you are not required to accompany the software with source codes and/or make them publicly available. However, they are obliged to provide these codes at the first request.
And yes, the one who asks you for the code can safely post it somewhere in the public domain. It will not be a violation of the license.

Yes, absolutely right - you can sell, but the code must be open.

And you can forget about file signatures.
