How to force quit a program on Mac OS?

Launched Sculptris, it hung. The icon is in the dock. Completed forcibly - does not help. I don't want to climb into the Terminal, because the user is a child (I help him remotely). Removed the program - it still hangs in the dock. When the program is expanded, a black window without buttons opens, and it is not possible to exit the program. Installed again - this black window opens.
Windows keyboard. What combination of buttons do you need? Tried CTRL+ALT+Delete, CTRL+ALT+Escape, Win+Alt+Escape.
There is Uninstall in the program folder, it was deleted with it, it did not help.

  • Option-Cmd-Esc
  • or an apple (upper left corner) and Force Quit (or whatever it is in the Russian version)
  • or open the Activity Monitor application, find the name of the application in the search, highlight, click on the cross at the top left
