How to fool Google Maps that my device has a GPS receiver?
I have a rooted device without GPS. It receives a location via bluetooth from another device and substitutes it into the system using mock locations. But when I start Google Maps I get the message "Turn-by-turn navigation is only available on devices with GPS hardware".
Is it possible to fool Google Maps (and other navigation software that checks for a GPS receiver in the device) that my device has a GPS receiver? Programmatically, or by changing some config in the operating system, or in any other way.

mock locations is actually a thing that is used when testing applications, but in real life no one will take coordinates from there.
You can't "deceive the iron check" in any way, because there is no such check. It's just that the corresponding services or services on your device are not available due to lack of hardware. That's all. And maps receives data from these services.
