The problem is that the possibility of flashing by the user is officially absent. In a correct way, this is done only through DOCSIS by the provider itself. There are no firmware on the site. The web face only displays the version of the current firmware, without any hint of the possibility of downloading your own. In a roundabout way, I managed to get the latest firmware. We tried to raise our DHCP + TFTP server (TFTPD32), and connect the modem to it via the LAN port in order to force it to take the firmware via TFTP through the appropriate DHCP options. But the LAN ports on the modem cannot be made DHCP clients.
This is where the ideas ran out. Can the community help, or is it really only left to bury the patient?
