How to flash a DELL PowerVault MD3400 RAID controller?
Hello everyone,
I have a DELL PowerVault MD3400 with 12 x 4TB hard drives that worked fine.
Another project needed this repository. We copied all the data, pulled out all the hard drives and put it on the DELL PowerVault NX3200 and copied it back.
DELL PowerVault MD3400 received 12 new and empty hard drives. When the controller was turned on, it went into recovery mode (possibly switched to Lock-Down mode).
We turned to the Russian-speaking tech. support at DELL. They say you need to flash the controller. This requires a DB9 to mini USB cable. No such cable found. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this cable?
Or any ideas how to flash the controller?
