How to fix webkit bug with transition + transform + position: absolute?

Transition rules (to change color and background), transform (horizontal skew) rules are applied to navbar menu items and Raleway font is selected. In a static position, the hover rules work fine. When scrolling, the navbar is fixed (sticky) and on hover, the entire navbar disappears until the end of the transition.
In firefox, this does not appear to be a problem.
