How to fix web3.js floating error in smart contract?

Hello,
faced with strange behavior of web3.js. Web3js throws an error Couldn't decode uint256 from ABI: 0x when calling the call method on a contract. And he does it on random occasions. One time the function works, the other time it doesn't. This has started showing up on the mainnet. The rinkeby test network did not have this problem.
Can you advise something? Already tried about 10 different versions of web3.js
