How to fix vzctl enter stuck?
In one of the containers vzctl enter broke after vps upgrade from debian stable to debian testing. The worst thing is that I created a template from this container and the same thing is in the new vps deployed from this template.
it looks like this:
[email protected]:~# vzctl enter 2002
- we hang here for a very long time, by Ctrl + C the
vzctl exec command comes out and works.
who has met with this? how to fix?

By the way, then I solved the problem. It was necessary to tweak /etc/securetty inside the container. Because Trouble is a thing of the past, then specifics are not particularly needed now. There are no such troubles in the new images.
Wheezy and Precise templates are not yet ready (and, in general, far from being ready). So my advice to you is not to suffer from bullshit)
I tried to start Precise in VZ, spat and said to myself “well, fuck it, anyway, the openvz bucket will not start on the sandy bridge”.
