I switched to WebStorm and am slowly learning the interface.
I ran into some problems that I took a screenshot of:
I marked in red the incomprehensible spaces that the editor inserts, despite the fact that it is a String

Also sometimes there are incomprehensible empty spaces when you put the cursor in the middle of the line

Well, in general, what else would you advise to include in the settings from useful ?

Understood the problem.
Some fonts do not display correctly when resized.
Changed the font - and everything was fine
