How to fix terrible lags on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 when using a USB modem?
Hello, the driver responsible for transferring the Internet from any smartphone to a computer via a "usb modem" works terribly on the above versions. In particular, we are talking about the (only working and automatically connected) Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device in the network adapters tab in Device Manager. After it is activated, the whole system starts to slow down terribly, SETTINGS open only after an extremely long time, including the network control center, Java applications do not react immediately (regardless of the power of any PC device) and the worst thing is that identifying this problem is very difficult for most confident users due to these brakes. The same applies to full-fledged modems using this driver. The driver itself has not been updated since 2006,
NOTE: if you combine a local adapter (it doesn’t matter with the Internet or not) together with an adapter that uses the specified driver into a network bridge, then ALL lags will disappear, HOWEVER, this does not work on all devices and the point is already in Windows themselves, which configure it incorrectly in as a result of failures generated by the broken driver itself, incompatible with the system interface and even the explorer (!!!)
The system configuration is not important, the smartphone itself and the shell too, how to solve this problem? Replacing with USB Rndis6 is IMPOSSIBLE, because this driver works when playing games with the registry (unstable) and is not friendly with all systems.
