How to fix meta description in Yoast plugin?

Good afternoon!
Installed wodpress+woocomerce+wpml
The following problem occurred - I can't change the meta description in the product. Either it does not change at all, or all changes are "added" to the already existing meta description and it turns out to be trash.
Has anyone encountered such a problem? I tried to install Yoast free version and paid version. Checked that there are no other plugins that conflict with yoast...
