How to fix layer state in lighten mode?

There is a layout in which one of the layers is in lightening mode. If you remove the background from under it, then the layer does not look the way it should be. Is it possible to fix the state of the layer in lightening mode, so that when the background is removed from under it, it remains in the same form? You cannot merge layers, the background and the layer with lightening should end up as separate images.

In my opinion, layers with a blend mode just depend on what is underneath them and by themselves cannot remain the same.
If you are trying to make such a layout, then you need to explain to the designer that although you can do this through css - https://habrahabr.ru/post/223893/ , but browser support is extremely poor and it would be better for him not to do this.
