How to fix keepass not working in Linux Mint?

I moved to Linux Mint 19 MATE and found an unpleasant thing, copy / paste to the command line from KeePass 2 does not work.
At the same time, paste works with text documents, browsers.

In Mint Cinnamon and XDE, pasting to the console worked (although there were other glitches).

Can this be fixed somehow?
