How to fix karma-phantomjs-launcher" plugin: Path must be a string. Received null?

I'm trying to launch karma, but I get this error:
ERROR [plugin]: Error during loading "C:\projects\sfa\devTools\js\node_modules/karma-phantomjs-launcher" plugin:
Path must be a string. Received null
Node.js version 8.10.0
Tried to manually install this karma-phantomjs-launcher
npm install karma-phantomjs-launcher
and
npm install karma-phantomjs-launcher --save-dev
Didn't help... Maybe someone came across this problem?
