How to fix hibernation on windows 10?
Good day.
I installed a second ssd drive in my laptop and installed linux ubuntu on it. Windows 10 is on the first disk. During installation, I chose grub as the default bootloader. Now Windows does not have hibernation mode. Is there any way to fix this without harming both OSes?

I suspect that the problem is in the default boot in grub. try to put Windows by default
in the general case it should not be connected. I put it on different devices (disk), and I make the choice using F12 (boot menu), while Windows defaults
- there are no extra seconds of waiting
- each system has its own native bootloader
- the functionality is not lost, because in rough, in Windows multiboot , to change the axis you need to intervene. timely pressing F12 (or another button in the laptop) is no worse than choosing an axis in the menu roughly
- strictly speaking, setting anything other than the default device in the BIOS is not required at all;))
ps in any case, hibernation is more meaningful just for the default axes
Command line on behalf of adiin
Powercfg / h on
Would you explain the problem better
What exactly does not work?
Missing hibernation button?
Does it go to sleep instead of hibernation?
Nothing happens at all?
And one moment. What does it mean during installation I chose grub as the default bootloader. I have everything decided by the boot priority in the BIOS. Tell us how you decided?
