How to fix friezes in Mac OS X?

Yesterday I hooked up my bearded libraries to the system, which I have been using for probably six years. Everything would be fine, these bibles are very well organized and in the right place, but damn it, the old glitches are still there and nothing comes to mind, except for resetting the entire system to factory settings, which I really would not like.
First, there are some glitches with the finder. Focus on any window occurs only after a double click for some reason. Terribly just annoying.
Secondly, there is a freeze of any programs when you double-click on some file name to edit it. The program just hangs tightly and only forced termination helps. It is not possible to work in the same Sketch.
Thirdly, Safari is full of glitches. For example, when you click in the address bar, the block with favorite icons simply does not open.
In general, this is just what I managed to remember right now, and in fact, there are a lot of such small glitches.
I checked the disks with disk utility, the rights too. Everything is ok with this. The axis is the latest. There were no such glitches in the previous library. Advise where to dig cats, eh?

In poppies, you can change libraries for users. You go to Settings / Users and groups, right-click on the user and open additional settings in which you can specify the path to the user's folder, that is, to libraries. I once moved the whole thing to the HDD, but then all these glitches pulled me up and I reinstalled the system and all the libraries on the SSD. Now the place is completely over and I decided to connect my old bibles from hard. Everything was fine, not without pitfalls, of course, but relatively tolerable.
I have an old Mac, a 2008 tag. I don’t see any reason for users to create new ones, because I’m 120% sure that everything will work fine under them, but everything was ok on the last bible.
