How to fix DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error?

Clients sometimes complain that they periodically cannot access the site. An error occurs, as in the screenshot:


The problem is not permanent. The site is already over a month old, i.е. all DNS caches should have been updated by now. The problem is most likely in the settings of DNS records on the hosting or registrar, but where exactly? Where to dig?

First: The problem is not with one user, but the problem is not with their machines and browsers.
Second: Problem with the DNS server that is responsible for the domain zone.
To check who is messing up, you can register DNS on a free account and see how it will work. For example: https://www.cloudns.net I have been using the service for more than 5 years.
