How to fix date encoding in wordpress blog?

Guys, this is such nonsense ... I've already racked my brains ... help with advice:
The site is multilingual. Uses Russian and Ukrainian. Everything is fine, except for the output of the month in the Ukrainian version (coding flies) in the blog. HZ what's the matter. I checked the encoding of local.php, uk.po, template files, htaccess, the whole site and hosting - the result is the same UTF-8. But somewhere there must be a problem with the solution ...

I also encountered such a problem, I solved the problem by converting the name of the month to the desired encoding: If the site is multilingual, then you need to do the conversion only for the Ukrainian version, I did not notice such a problem in other languages.

What is the encoding comparison in the table? utf8_general_ci has a number of problems with Ukrainian just. Change to utf8_unicode_ci.

In general, I messed up my head and just changed it to digital format
