How to fix broken fonts in the browser after installing Figma Font Helper?

After installing the Figma Font Helper program on the computer, the fonts in the Chrome and Yandex browsers went astray. Some characters have been replaced by others. It looks like this:

I already deleted the program, cleared the cache, cleared the registry, reinstalled the browser, restarted the computer several times.

All that you have done will not restore corrupted font files. Reinstall Windows by recovery.

Didn't have to reinstall Windows. I downloaded the standard Windows fonts, inserted them with a replacement into the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. Helped.
