How to fix an error when creating a package in Checkinstall?

I collect via checkinstall squid on Centos 7. When creating an RPM package, it gives an error
error: Not a directory: /var/tmp/tmp.9q7aIWDBV1/package/usr/share/squid/errors/es-pa
How can I solve it?

I gave up on this, downloaded rpm with squid sources, corrected the code where necessary, and concocted a binary using rpmbuild
