Starting September 1 this year, Adobe stopped supporting Brackets. They announced this back in the spring, but now they have the last mention of it on their github . It looks like all Brackets related repositories are archived. Some kind of forks appeared there, but so far the entire infrastructure is in decline, so to speak, and the prospects are unknown. Perhaps someone will continue to maintain and develop this editor in the bright future, but for today it will be a good idea to get off the dead horse and try other editors, since there is a choice.
