How to fix a computer if there is no image?
Hello!
I need to fix my old computer. It does not display an image on the monitor, although the fans are working and the indicators are on. I say right away that the problem is not in the monitor and the wire to it, since I took them from my working computer.
I did everything as usual: I removed everything superfluous - I left only the processor, mother, RAM and PSU. The RAM is definitely working. No sound. Cleaned everything. The processor is getting hot. I knocked down the BIOS settings by removing the battery and rearranging the contacts. But the problem has not disappeared. What else can you try? And what is most likely broken - the motherboard? I ask for sincere help.

Remove the memory, the motherboard should beep. Silent? Also remove the CPU, there should also be a signal. Not? Check the correct connection / performance of the speaker. Well, if a PSU with a motherboard and a working speaker = silence, then look at the motherboard for dead capacitors and physical damage.
Well, first you need to look at the PSU, a sore subject, dust, output voltage drop. And then the mother.
And the best thing in such cases is to have a Pci post card
