How to find the minimum polynomial for an element in a field?

Given a field GF(2^3) generated by a polynomial x^3 + x + 1, you need to find the minimum polynomials for each element in this field. How to find them, in practice? Wherever I found the theory, there were no examples, because of this, some confusion arose.
