How to find quickly and a lot of necessary information?

Many of my colleagues who have succeeded in their professions, in addition to good professional skills, had the ability to find quickly and a lot of necessary information.

But I had such situations in my life where I did not cope with the task of finding something as I would like. Examples:

  1. Employed as assistant manager. It was necessary to find someone who would make a website for our company. Then I searched on Google. Wrote in the search line Creation of sites Kursk . I found a programmer, he then made a not very high-quality website. Now I know that there is such a site as UPWork and other sites where you can find good developers, but then I didn’t know.
  2. Another job was to find Russian manufacturers of refrigeration equipment for supermarkets. In Google and Yandex, when I wrote the phrase: a manufacturer of refrigeration equipment for supermarkets in Russia, I found only 2-3. Then I learned from colleagues that there are actually more of them. But for some reason I couldn't find them. Although these other manufacturers that I did not find also have their own websites, their factories are marked on Google and Yandex maps.
  3. When I did a test task in web development courses, I had to do authentication using jwt tokens, I wrote on YouTube: authentication using jwt token ., and received a lot of videos. Spent a lot of time until I found what I needed. Other course participants searched for the information they needed much faster.

Summing up these examples, I have a few questions:
1. How can I find out what kind of platforms exist where the information I need about something can be located?
2. What am I writing wrong in the Google / Yandex / YouTube search bar that other people find faster and more of the necessary information?
3. What are the rules for writing in the search box to follow in order to find more information about something and do it faster?

PS I watched articles and videos like these:
15 Google Search Methods That 96% of People Don't Know About

Some of the search features from such videos and articles I certainly took for myself, but still I still lose in the ability to search even for my friends who do not use a computer at all in their work or very rarely ...

There are some simple tips:
1. look for exclusively textual information (video is only for visual acquaintance with the appearance or technique of any action).
2. search on thematic resources, such as researchgate
3. use a "scientific" statement of the query, i. not "how to learn python", but "python official documentation specification"
4. do not use Russian language (only for context requests)
5. do not use Russian search engines (only for context requests)
6. do not use Russian ip (only for context requests)
7. first study general questions, and then private ones (ie, not "how to turn the player to the goal of unity 2d", but "unity3d official documentation").

Grandfather Lenin once said:
"Study, study and study again."
I would (modestly) write - "think, learn, learn to think, think again, learn again, learn to think again ... and so on all my life." This is the answer to your question.
Yes, searching for information is not a solution to a school math problem, where you take a ready-made formula, substitute a number and - a hero! Here you have to think. Primarily. Those who did not understand this at school (which is important not to remember, and not even to copy from a neighbor for the sake of an assessment, but to solve ANY problems on their own) will study in adulthood (which is more difficult and expensive, and often much more painful). Who understood - will simply gain experience. Because in 90% of cases - as well as when solving any problem outside the textbook - it is experience and practice, plus the ability to think for yourself, including generalizing your experience, that is the key to success.
And according to the finished recipe - only borscht is cooked, and even then, it does not work out the same for different housewives. Even here - PERSONAL experience and PERSONAL practice are important.
PS Here, even at your request about refrigerators, there are 15 pieces on the fly.
https://productcenter.ru/producers/catalog-kholodi... I understand that not all of them will suit you, but this is no longer a search, but further marketing research.
How did you manage to find only 2-3???

I know now... but I didn't know then.

It's called experience. Without it, nowhere.

Personally, the university helped me a lot in this. This is probably the most useful quality that the university has given me. In general, Google, in my opinion, is the most versatile assistant when you need to find something.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
