How to find out who the domain is registered to?
The situation is this: there is a domain that we have been using for a long time. But it was registered in time immemorial and the person can no longer be found. Whois says private person. The maximum that could be found out is the full name. Is there any way to get more detailed information?

Usually, a telephone / written request is enough to the technical support of the registrar / hoster or their management with an explanation of the situation, that “the admin is gone, he can shit, you need to change the logins / passwords for the admin and understand who it is registered to” and confirmation of payments for the last few domain payments / hosting with company seal. I myself worked in hosting - there were at least one such request per week.
If the domain was registered by the hoster (and since you are renewing through it, then most likely it is) - write him a ticket "I want to transfer the domain name to another registrar." The hoster will tell you what documents are needed, perhaps a scan of your passport. Well, the scan of whose passport will tell, of course.
And do not store domains with a hoster, it will be calmer for yourself. In case of any conflict / non-standard situation, the site can still be restored from a backup, and you will have to tinker with the domain.
Flies separately, cutlets separately.
Most likely only through the indulgence of the registrar or a court decision. It's just that no one will give you personal information - until you prove that you have the right to it ... Or a kind soul will not come across.
In the general case, only a search for a person and an application from him to transfer the domain.
In a particular case, you can try through the court. But on what basis is a difficult question. Usually judged on the basis of the existing trademark.
It has become quite difficult to obtain data on the owner of a domain after the introduction of 152FZ. It is necessary either to somehow negotiate with the registrar-hoster or through an official request from eligible organizations.
Often, many registrars provide a private box where you can try to contact the owner of the domain - it is forwarded to the address specified during domain registration.
