How to find out what RAM to buy in the server?

there is a server like this
d8ysZvU.png
IBM motherboard 00D3729
motherboard chipset Intel Cougar Point C202, Intel Ivy Bridge
CPU type QuadCore Intel Xeon E3-1220 v2, 3100 MHz (31 x 100

) it doesn't really give anything, maybe the frequency should be set higher there or ...

aida64 on SPD does not give anything, how to find out what RAM can be installed? How many slots are there for it? Now it costs 16 gig and they are fully occupied, you need to put 32 already

If the server is IBM, then its type\model is written on the front panel. Google the specification and find supported parts there. Sometimes it is in the description of the motherboard, see the same aida or hwinfo for information about the motherboard or chassis.
IMHO: Judging by the processor, it has ddr3 ecc unbuf memory, 4 slots, the maximum size of the bar is 8GB.

Use google, Luke!

Go to the manufacturer's website, drive in the board number, look at the list of compatible models. There may even be a link to the store. But in any case, you will find out the number, and then look on ebay

Intel most likely has a remote access interface similar to HP - ILO \ Supermicro IPMI.
You need to come and see.
