How to find out the key pressed on the synthesizer using JavaScript?

It is required in the browser (Chrome) to track keystrokes on the synthesizer connected to the PC.
I use the Web audio Api to generate sound, however, I don’t even know which way to dig, so that I can connect a synthesizer or midi keyboard, play the instrument itself, and receive sound in the browser.
Perhaps the Web MIDI Api will help with this, but an example is needed ...
