How to find IT conferences in the USA for a visa?
I have long wanted to visit the United States, see the country, see my friends. But, as you know, the US visa policy is not very loyal, and requires a lot plus the right weather on Mars to get a visa. Due to my age and position, which the US immigration service describes as “insufficient connection with my homeland”, I think trying to get a visa based not on tourism, but on business purposes of the trip (in principle, I would love to visit some conference with a topic close to me) . The employer is ready to write letters of guarantee and provide other documents that he sends me and pays for the trip.
Where can I find information on finding IT conferences in the USA? How to contact them and get an invitation? What can be pitfalls?

An official invitation is not required. You just find a conference, print it out and go to the embassy.
By the way, where does such a desire to get to the USA come from by any means? There, of course, a lot of interesting things, but in the embassy they quickly identify such "tearing", the eye of the consuls is very well trained.
My advice is to come to the US embassy with an indifferent mood, like “I’m planning a vacation in Florida, well, or in the Dominican Republic, if it doesn’t grow together with you. Tickets are cheaper in Miami, so I decided to try it.”

I think the embassy workers are not completely idiots. Most likely they know about such methods of penetration that you are not aware of. Those who want to enter the United States and their sometimes outstanding resourcefulness are their profile. On Discovery, I remember there was a series of programs about customs officers and how they weed out people at airports.
Not so long ago, he himself received a visa (successfully) and considered a bunch of options. As far as I understand (reading forums and threads about refusals), the most important thing for the embassy is not where they go, but who goes. And often a visa is refused before they start asking about the purpose of the trip.
I did not bring any documents linking me to my homeland. The key to success is a decent salary and work (at least six months at the current place). Otherwise, they do not care why you go there. Tell the truth - tourism.
And where did you get the idea that by attending the conference you suddenly ceased to be a potential immigrant?
Isn't it easier to get a good job and get a tourist visa?
Did you use a visa consultant when trying to get a tourist visa if not then use it as they have a lot of experience.
I used to deal with this issue as well. I found the first Python conference I came across, wrote to their info box that I need an invitation for a visa. I was asked to send a form. They filled it out, signed it, stamped it and sent it in PDF. They also said that they could send the original and in case of visa refusal they are ready to return the money for the conference (about $ 700, the conference was a week long). Maybe lucky, or maybe it really is a common procedure for the organizers.
Z.Y. It didn't even get to the point where I got my visa...
