How to find an unpopular library for creating TUI?

I used a library to write pseudo-TUI a couple of years ago and I really want to find it again.
It is very unpopular, written in pluses and OpenGL, but there are binds for other languages (I wrote in python).
The possibilities there are quite primitive, without widgets and other things. The width and height of the window was set by the number of characters. And the text was also located at x,y of a specific character, not a pixel. I've searched a bunch of sites already, but I couldn't find it.
This is not curses, urwid, npyscreen, asciimatics, etc.
As far as I remember, there was not a single widget.
